1) Forum does not allow me to register. I either get a 404 error (page not found -- Blue bear) when trying to give my e-mail or when trying to confirm my other settings.
This happens when trying to view the link from WeChat directly. WeChat opens a browser from within the application. Try manually inputting the URL elsewhere: oac.boards.net.
2) I've registered finally, but now I don't seem to be receiving my activation e-mail.
Are you using a Microsoft account (@live, @hotmail, @outlook, etc)? It appears that Microsoft is currently blocking e-mails from ProBoards. There are numerous posts about this on their Support forums. It appears to be a fairly new issue, so it may get resolved, but for the meantime try another e-mail address like Yahoo! or Gmail.
To change your e-mail address after you've already registered is simple. Login, this should bring you to the page requesting your activation code. The box containing your e-mail address has a "Change Email" option in the top right corner.
