Upgrading gear and fine tuning your character is a constant process, not to mention time consuming. This begins by concurrently leveling your professions (if you haven't done so already) and purchasing or gathering Tier 1 Rune Gear; collecting patterns to upgrade your Tier 1 Rune Gear from Rare to Epic; and earning Soul Signets. Most of the end game is about grinding enough Soul Signets to upgrade your gear so that you may advance to the next level. The following discussion is how to approach this as a solo player.
Upgrading Gear:
One of the reasons to play video games is to “beat” them; there are arguably different levels of “beating” Order and Chaos. Some might consider the ability to participate and clear end-game content like Eidolon’s Horizon (EHL) and to some extent Sailen: The Lower City (GSL) and Sailen: The Palace (SPL) as reaching a pinnacle of success in Order and Chaos. Many players view having characters with the best-possible gear in each slot as “beating” the game. Most of us fall into the best-possible-gear category, to be sure. The following discussion is how to approach gearing your character so that you might accomplish both of these things.
Professional Skill:
Though this discussion is not relevant to many players who already have this information, it should be noted that getting your professions to the maximum level, 500/500, is critical to gearing your character. Each class has specific (...and mandatory) professions necessary to upgrade both Tier 1 and Tier 2 gear from Rare to Epic. Professions in Order and Chaos are not as varied as other Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (mmorpgs), which only offers three choices.
Tailor is THE profession for both Mages and Monks of any spec. The trainer, Kentufal, is located in the Legendary Garden in Greenmont.
Leather is THE profession for Rangers of either spec. The trainer, Reemas, is located at the bottom of the tower on the Quiet Path in Greenmont.
Foundry is THE profession for Warriors of either spec. The trainer, Toureen, is located in the Hall of Foundry in Greenmont.
Several things to consider here:
If you accidentally chose the wrong profession for your class, all is not lost. You can purchase a “Potion of Forget” to reset your erroneous profession choice from any Supplies Seller in Greenmont.
Sacrilege boasts a large Guild Bank with materials for leveling professions. If you need help with materials, speak to a Council member or our Quarter Master (Xrydithia) so that we may allocate needed supplies. We make every effort to keep our inventory updated, which is posted here:

For an investment of 40 Rune Stones, Ancient Slab Stones can be purchased from Ubiquitous Nick for each profession. Ancient Slab Stones raise your profession level by 100 points each. The grind from 300 - 500 can be both tedious and material heavy. Because of this, many players complete two to three levels of their profession and use Ancient Slab Stones to finish the last two or three levels. Remember, however, that Rune Stones cost real money so this may not be an option for every player.
Soul Signets/Soul Gear:
Soul signets are gained multiple ways, including, daily rewards (the one that you get for just logging onto your character), lottery rewards, killing rare monsters, daily quests, dungeon quests and killing the final Boss in each dungeon. (There will be more discussion about this topic later.)
Souls Signets are used to purchase class- and spec-specific accessory sets that offer significant bonuses for acquiring 4/4, namely an Epic trinket, ring, cloak and necklace. The order in which one purchases accessories is largely up to the individual; however, many people opt to purchase their spec-specific trinkets first, followed by either cloak or ring and lastly the necklace. Quality neckpieces are available as loot from Legendary Mode dungeons and are often better than the Soul Signet accessory, surpassed only by set bonuses.
Accessory Sets are designed to be class- and spec-specific. For example: a Military Spec’d Monk would collect a different set of accessories than a Divine Spec’d Monk. A complete list is found below by following the link:
Mage:
Mages, regardless of spec, collect Frost-Fire accessories, which include: Amulet of Frost-Fire, Cape of Frost-Fire, Necklace of Frost-Fire and Ring of Frost-Fire.
Monks:
Divine Spec’d Accessory Set includes: Divine Breath Amulet, Divine Breath Cloak, Divine Breath Necklace and Divine Breath Ring.
Military Spec’d Accessory Set includes: Martial Master’s Amulet, Martial Master’s Cloak, Martial Master’s Necklace and Martial Master’s Ring.
Rangers:
Archer Spec’d Accessory Set includes: Wind Chaser Amulet, Wind Chaser Cloak, Wind Chaser Necklace and Wind Chaser Ring.
Assassin Spec’d Accessory Set includes: Shadow Rover Amulet, Shadow Rover Cloak, Shadow Rover Necklace and Shadow Rover Ring.
[Note: The Wind Chaser Ring is identical to the Shadow Rover Ring. Many Archers and Assassins choose to purchase the Tier 2 ring for their off-spec after purchasing their spec-specific ring for this reason.]
Warriors:
Guardian Spec’d Accessory Set includes: Fortitude Guardian’s Amulet, Fortitude Guardian’s Cloak, Fortitude Guardian’s Necklace and Fortitude Guardian’s Ring.
Battle Spec’d Accessory Set Includes: Furious Decapitator’s Amulet, Furious Decapitator’s Cloak, Furious Decapitator’s Necklace and Furious Decapitator’s Ring.

Additionally, Soul Signets are used to purchase class- and spec-specific weapons. It should be noted that these are very rare, Epic loot drops from dungeon bosses.
Soul Signet accessories and weapons are purchased from the Aryurumoka immediately outside the gates of Greenmont in Cliffwatch. They are the winged Non-Player Characters that you have undoubtedly seen as you have leveled your character.
Lastly, Soul Signets are used to buy both Tier 1 and Tier 2 patterns to upgrade gear from Rare to Epic. Tier 1 patterns drop routinely from Legendary Mode dungeons and are thus infrequently purchased due to expense. On the other hand, Tier 2 patterns are only available from vendors for a substantial amount of Soul Signets. Many players will opt to save for Tier 2 patterns only after they have achieved 4/4 accessories and Soul Signet weapons, though there is some debate about which order this should happen.
Rare Monsters That Drop Soul Signets:
The Great Desert hosts many of the rare monsters known to drop coveted Soul Signets. These include The Desert Water Lord, The Desert Wolf King, Iron Tail and Oasis Peace Breaker. For detailed information about the location of each of these rarely spawned creatures, follow this link:

Additionally, a rare monster, The Elemental King, is located in Sinskaald Rift and has a 100% Soul Fragment drop rate. For detailed information about the location of this rarely spawned creature, follow this link:

Lastly, a rare mini-Boss, the Prince, is located in Tear Coast with the Shadow Warriors (discussed below) and has a 100% Soul Signet drop rate. In addition to Soul Signets, the Shadow Prince drops a Symbol of Champion and a pattern, Synthesis Book, used to create an Epic class- and spec-specific trinket. Level 60 Daily Quests:
Daily quests are the primary way players accumulate Soul Signets; most of these quests are easily competed solo. Quests are available from the Aryurumoka immediately outside the gates of Greenmont in Cliffwatch.
Eradication:
Soul Signets are awarded for killing twenty Sinskaald Forest Boars in Sinskaald Rift. The easiest way to find the Sinskaald Forest Boars is to teleport to the Suspended City and follow the road west, staying right whenever the road branches. This quest is able to be completed solo but many players form groups so that it can be done more quickly.
Feeling Squiggly:
Soul Signets are awarded for killing twenty Blackblood Trolls, including, Blackblood Flesheaters, Blackblood Smashers and Blackblood Impalers in the Swamp of Wyrms. The easiest way to find the Blackbood Trolls is to teleport to Wyrgast’s Library; the trolls are located just south of the Salty Swamp Fishfolk. This quest is able to be done solo but many players form groups so that it can be completed more quickly.
Shadow Warriors:
Soul Signets are awarded for killing ten Shadow Knights and ten Shadow Priests in the Tear Coast. The easiest way to find the Shadow Warriors is to teleport to Bellshoal and head north. This route is a bit circuitous and it is probably best for someone to show you how to get to them. Unlike the other daily quests, many players have trouble doing this solo and seek at least one other player to assist with quest completion.
Which Witch:
Soul Signets are awarded for killing twenty Vampire Witches in the Great Desert. The easiest way to find the Vampire Witches is to teleport to Wind’s End; the witches are located just south of the teleport hub. This quest is able to be done solo but many players form groups so that it can be completed more quickly.
